Radical: EASE
"What's within you is stronger than what's in the way." ~Erik Weihenmayer

Call me old-school; I enjoy a pencil and paper when I write.
I used to prefer a ballpoint pen but the commitment of ink always felt heavy and serious to me. A little too permanent. I would often hesitate and get stuck on delivering just the right message which would inevitably derail my train of thought. I would cringe whenever I doubled back to cross out a phrase or word.
The eraser has become my right-hand man.
There’s confidence in knowing that a simple flip and drag of my writing instrument allows me to quickly revise and continue moving forward.
I also use a top spiral-bound pad of paper. As a lefty, I find the left margin spiral-bound pads challenging. That simple change has given me ease of movement; it’s smooth and effortless.
Now, something magical happens as I hear and feel lead scratching the surface of a fresh sheet of paper. It helps create stillness within, and I'm better able to observe and focus on my inner voice mulling over ideas as I express the words.
Clarity arrives with the process of doing. And the “doing” gets easier when we remove any barriers to entry. That includes anything that causes frustration, roadblocks, and limitations. Whether they’re real or perceived.
Growth happens in this space of allowing.
Where can you eliminate roadblocks in your life so that you can show up and share the best version of yourself with the world?
